Questions

Before you subscribe

Where does the data come from?

From the job postings employers publish on their own career sites (and USAJOBS for federal jobs), read every morning by our crawler. We merge duplicate postings, drop closed jobs and apply employers' corrections, so the report matches what's on this board that day. Nothing in it comes from surveys, private payroll data or any employer's internal systems.

How is this different from a salary survey?

Surveys report what people are paid, months after the fact. This reports what employers are advertising right now: posted ranges, sign-on bonuses and how long jobs stay open, updated daily and summarized monthly. Many teams use both.

Which employers and roles are covered?

Every employer with open health care jobs on this board: currently 45, from health systems to home care agencies, senior living, clinics, dental, behavioral health and federal employers, across eastern Washington and North Idaho. Roles run from caregivers, CNAs and med techs to nurses, therapists, techs, front desk and providers. The report's coverage section lists every employer included that month.

How are the figures calculated?

Pay is shown as an hourly equivalent of the range an employer posts. A "typical" range needs at least 5 postings with a full range from at least 2 employers; below that, the report shows the actual postings. Employer tables are alphabetical, never a ranking. The sample's methodology section has the details.

Is it all right for us to use competitors' posted pay?

Everything in the report is information employers chose to publish in their job ads, collected by an independent third party; no employer shares data with another through us. How your organization uses market data is a question for your own counsel, as it would be for any market report.

Can we get an invoice, a W-9 or a system license?

Yes. Email support@inlandcarejobs.com and we'll set it up for accounts payable. System licenses cover every facility and department in one subscription.

Our own listing is wrong. Can you fix it?

Always, free, within two business days: email us the page. Corrections show in the next day's report data.
