Who approves these: Neither Washington nor Idaho licenses sonographers; employers usually ask for a registry credential from ARDMS or CCI. For cath lab work, Washington certifies cardiovascular invasive specialists: you need a CAAHEP-accredited program (or another route the rule lists) and CCI's RCIS exam (WAC 246-926-410).
